16' Above Ground Pools are the perfect fit for those with a small to mid-size family
or with a reasonable amount of yard space. A 16 foot above ground pool will
comfortably fit 4-5 average size adults to swim, float and play. There are
approximately 5,068 gallons in a 52" above ground pool and requires
approximately 1-1/2 yards of sifted(playground) sand to create a 2"
layer under the liner and sand cove.
A great way to see if a 16' round pool will work in your backyard is to
take something like a garden hose; make a 16-foot diameter circle and see
how it fits in the available yard space. Also, you can have everyone in the family stand inside the
circle and see how much room you have. You may find that a slightly
larger pool will both fit the yard and is what is needed to maximize
swimming enjoyment.
